Close to stone marker 120 the place of the gFutatsu Toriih, the two
gates, letfs have a break with an aspirating mind to reach Koyasan. In the
environment of the stone marker 115 two wooden gates and a rock are found. This
rock has a legend which tells us about a white snake living under the rock and
if you see the snake you will be blessed with happiness. From the stone marker
113 you can see the lawn of the Kii Highlands Country Club.

In the neighborhood of the stone marker 113 you will see the so called
Kouda Ogo pond of the Kii Highlands Country Club. The pond was constructed by
Ogo
Shonin for the purpose of rice offering in favor of the Niutsuhime
Shrine in
Momoyama period(1573-1603).

This small temple is used for worshipping Kobo Daishi,
Koya
Kouda Jizo Do is a temple in the neighbourhood of stone marker 112. It
is said that after Yokobue entered priesthood
she was waiting here to see the priest Takiguchi-Niudo only for period.
Kobo Daishi, Koyasu-jizo and Ogo Shonin are enshrined here.

An easy and gentle hiking path continues in the environment of stone
marker 97,.
Pilgrims in ancient times might have thought of this walking as pleasure
rather than as penance. Close to stone marker 78, you will find the third
gRisekih. The locality Yatate is signed by stonemarker 60 and now you reach the
Koyasan road.
